The name of the seminary is Lisu Theological Seminary of Myanmar (LITSOM) set up the school theme as “Blessing to the Nations” to accept student across geographical, racial, and denominational barriers. Litsom Library is occupying all the first floor four-rooms of LITSOM building. It consists of computer and periodical Room, Circulation Counter and working Room, Reference Room and Book Stacks Room. Litsom Library’s current collection includes 11120 English books, such as Burmese, Lisu, Kachin, Chinese and 5 kinds of periodicals.

Rules & Regulations

1. Membership fee will be charged ks 1000. For the Alumnus in Local place who want to use Litsom Library, the annual fees will be charged ks 2000. For Theological Students from other Bible Schools, recommendation’s letter from the Principal is needed.
2. Library Opening Hours:
Monday to Friday      9:00 A.M to 12:00 P.M
             1:00 P.M. to 5:30 P.M
             7:00 P.M to 9:00 P.M
Circulation Hours      1:00 P.M to 5:30 P.M
3. When borrowed books are lost, books can be replaced or double amount of the cost price shall be charged.
4. Books may be borrowed or returned during the Library Circulation hours.
5. Handle books with care, no marking writing short notes in the book. No outside books are allowed to bring in.
6. Borrowed books must return before the semester end. In case of failure fine charges will be Ks 1000 per books. For the Staff, all the borrowed books must be returned at the end of Academic Year.
7. Serious action will be taken if one is caught stealing and vandalizing books.
8. Reference books and thesis are not allowed to be taken from Library.
